It is one of the six so called French agogo bars. The others being Mandarin, Fahrenheit, Lighthouse, Shark and The Palace.

It is located in the middle of Walking Street, on the right hand side if walking from the Beach Road end. It opened in June 2014.

It is in the premises previously known as Private Dancer Agogo.

It opened in May 2015 and in the few short months has established itself firmly as one of the best gogo bars in Pattaya. There are no shrinking violets here, its a fully interactive bar.

It is also incredibly well managed and promoted. The management know how to keep things simple but they know what customers want – lots of dancers and reasonable drinks prices.

Draft beer is 90 Baht but the glass is HUGE, probably twice the size of the glasses in most gogo bars. If you like your gogo bars tame and quiet this is not for you. If you like them alive and raunchy you will almost

Bliss GoGo Bar is one of the first bars that you will encounter on a visit to Walking Street Pattaya.

Bliss is a medium sized gogo bar with a long narrow dance floor where the chrome poles are attached to the floor and don’t go all the way to the roof.

You can forget about any pole dancing show then as it would be impossible. There are 14 dancers on stage and all look good in their white pants.

Three dancers are topless which is always a good sign when you enter a gogo bar. Bliss Gogo Bar Pattaya Bliss Agogo Walking Street Pattaya Bliss defiantly have an A-team when it comes to the dancers.

The night I went a draught beer cost 80฿ and a Tiger Light was 140฿. If you are looking to barfine one of the dancers the the regular dancers are 1000฿ and the gogo dancers with the wrist bands are 1500฿. Bliss is a good bar to spend some time inside.

Angelwitch Pattaya, also known as Angelwitch Rock Dancers, is the sister bar of Angelwitch Bangkok which is located in Nana Plaza.

The Pattaya version can be found in Soi 15, Walking Street, Pattaya. It is a large two storey venue with seating both in the main arena and in the balcony area on the 2nd floor.

It is without a doubt Pattaya’s number one show bar and a must visit, especially if it is your first visit.

Doors open 8pm ’til late. There is a Happy Hour from 8pm to 10pm when (currently) all beers, whisky and cocktails are available on a buy one get one free basis.

Alcatraz A GoGo bar was designed with a professional design team to make it ooze sensuality; an electrifying dance and music scene in Pattaya’s Walking Street, world-renown for its GoGo bars.

Wang Saen Suk or Wang Saen Suk Hell Garden features religious sculptures on the area of 32 rai, featuring large and small ghastly figures displaying the suffering and punishment received after death from doing bad deeds. It was built by the Venerable Phothisatto Foundation as reminders for people to keep high moral standards and the faith in the Lord Buddha’s law of cause and effect. On the other side, the Land of Buddhism features the Lord Buddha at birth, attaining enlightenment and death. There is a literature zone featuring Phra Abhai Mani, the masterpiece story of Soonthorn Phu, a great poet in the reign of Rattanakosin. There are also figures of deities in other religions.

Wihan Thep Sathit Phra Kitti Chaloem or Nacha Sa Thai Chue Shrine

The Najasathaichue Chinese Temple was built in 1991 on an original area of 200 square wa, by Master Somchai Choeisiri. In 1996, he built a large Chinese temple in honor of His Majesty the King on his 72nd Anniversary. The name, Thep Sathit Phra Kiti Chaloem was given by His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch which means the abode of gods. The 4-storey temple is designed and elaborately decorated with Chinese art and design. There are 2,840 scultures of dragon. In front of the building, the hall of Heaven and Earth, with the 36-metre dragon pole with 9 dragons representing the 9 planets.

How to get there: 1/13 Moo 5, Ang Sila – Bangsaen Rd., Ang Sila, Muang, Chonburi. From Sukhumvit Rd., turn right into Ang Sila Rd., at the Old Market Ang Sila intersection, turn left to Ang Sila-Bangsaen Rd. The temple is on the left.

Wat Ang Sila

Built in late Ayutthaya Period, around 1700, Ang Sila Temple was originally comprised of twin prayer halls opr Bots, Inner Hall (Wat Ang Nai) and Outer Hall (Wat Ang Nok). They were merged into one temple in King Rama V Chulalongkorn. There are older murals and a group of pagodas standing in front of the Bot. The Outer Bot features murals from the Third Reign, by painters from Wat Sam Pluem in 1825. It features the life story of the Lord Buddha in red, black and indigo, with inscriptions in ancient Khmer and Thai. The temple has been registered by the Fine Arts Department as archeological sites.

How to get there: On Highway No.3134, Moo 4, Ang Sila, Muang, Chonburi. From Sukhumvit Rd., turn right into Ang Sila, go straight before the intersection to the old Ang Sila market. The temple is on the left.

The temple is situated approximately 12 km south of Pattaya City. It was built 1976 on the purpose of paying respect Somdet Phra Yanasangwon, the present Supreme Patriarch and is now under the patronage of His Majesty the King. The architecture of the temple is noted for its elegant and modern Thai style within peaceful surroundings.

Within the ground, there are a mondop (pavilion with four gables) with a replica of the Buddha’s footprints, a large stupa with the relics of the Lord Buddha and his disciples, Phra Yanaret Vihan as well as international pavilions representing the architecture of several countries. Nearby, there is also a Chinese-style building housing antiques and art objects from China. Various types of meditation courses are available from 06.00 am. – 06.00 pm.

How to get there: Located 12 km south of Pattaya and 3 km from Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. It can be reached by turning left from Sukhumvit Rd. at km 160 marker.

Koh Si Chang is a small island closest to Bangkok which can be reached within an hour drive and 45 minutes ferry. This island is not popular amongst foreign tourists but only Thais. Haad Tham Phang or Collapsed Cave Beach is the most popular beach on the island. Other beaches are smaller, more secluded. The island is linked together with narrow roads. The coast of the island is lined with rock cliff and cave. It is also a home to Wat Yai Prik which is a Buddhist meditation temple built on the limestone hill and there is also a grounds of King Chulalongkorn’s Palace built in 1890 and abandoned in 1893 after the occupation of France during a conflict with Thailand over which country would control Laos.

Koh Si Chang has a lot to offer besides the nice beaches to swim. The following activities can be fun and worth checking out.

Chong Issariyaphon lies in the back of the island. The gap can be seen from the boat in the sea. It looks like a separating line in the hill. It is a perfect lookout for the sunset. The beach below is scattered with round pebbles which were influenced by the wind. King Chulalongkorn had the royal pavilion built here. It affords a 360 degree view, also used as the King’s planetarium.

Assadang Bay(Hat Tham Phang) is situated in the west of the island. The bay is beautifully curving with fine white sand beach and clear water. The north of the bay is where Chakrabongse Point lies. The layers of rocks jut out into the sea. It is a great spot to enjoy fishing and watching the sunset.

Built in the reign of King Chulalongkorn, Rama V, as the royal summer residence, the Chudhadhuj Palace is beautifully landscaped. The compound comprises of Vadhana Building, modified in European style, Phongsri Building, an octagonal hall, Abhirom Building built in combination of Thai-European style. There are also seaside wooden bungalows, a pool, a pond, a pier and a lighthouse.

Situated on top of the hill, Assadang Nimit Temple sits behind the Chudhadhuj Palace. King Chulalongkorn, Rama V had the temple built in 1892 to replace Wat Plai Laem. The Lankan-style pagoda is built on the top of the prayer hall. It is decorated in Gothic style. The skylights are decorated with stained glass. The holy bodhi tree has been brought from Bodh Gaya in India is planted here. From the pagoda, a breathtaking panoramic view of the palace area and the seascape can be seen.

The cave was discovered by His Royal Highness Prince Chakrabongse Bhuvanart during his convalescence. There is a reclining Buddha inside this small cave. Over the cave on the hilltop is where a large yellow Buddha stands.

Wat Chudhathit Dhammasabharam Voravihan is located in the North of Koh Sichang, on the hill facing the sea, with a view of Ko Kham Noi and Ko Kham Yai. King Chulalongkorn, Rama V had the temple established in 1892 in honour of His Royal Highness Prince Chudhadhuj Dharadilok. The gable of prayer hall features fine stucco and the paintings of the ten major former lives of the Lord Buddha are place in the interior. The Sukhothai style Buddha in Subduing Mara gesture is situated inside.

Wat Tham Yai Prik is cave temple situated on the hill and is also a meditating centre. The environs is quiet and peaceful. The cave is sandstone. There are 3 main meditation halls, Sila (precepts), Smadhi (concentration) and Panya (intellect). The pagodas of the 4 important Buddhist sites in India and Nepal and the Statue of Luang Pho Prasit Thavaro, who initiated the temple are also situated there. Wat Tham Prik is one of the spot for a panoramic view of the island.

The Holy Footprint

The Holy Footprint
The replication of the Holy Footprint is situated above the Shrine of Chao Pho Khao Yai, on the hill in the north of the island. The footprint is 1 meter long, built from the stone from Bodh Gaya in India. A holy relic is also enshrined here. The sunset, the seascape and Ko Kham Yai are spectacular from this point.
