Koh Krok, a small island is situated 8 km from the shore. The island mostly comprises of rocks. There is only one sand beach in the east of the island which stretches 100 m long. No accommodation is provided. This is an ideal place for snorkeling and escape from the city.

Beach’s on Kho Larn Pattaya Funtown

Ta Waen Beach
In the northernmost of Koh Larn, Ta Waen Beach, one of the most famous beach. It has 750 m long golden sand beach with clear blue water lapping against the shore. Apart from the pleasure of swimming, you can also enjoy fun activities such as jet ski and banana boat. There are shops and restaurants along the beach.

Thong Lang Beach

With the length of 200 m, Thong Lang Beach is situated in the northeast of Ta Waen beach. Tranquility can be found here. Abundance of coral reef in this area allows tourists to explore by snorkeling or diving. A ‘sea walker’ service is another way to discover the beauty of the underwater.

Sangwan Beach

The 150 m long Sangwan Beach is a small beach next to Ta Waen Beach. It is quieter and more private than Ta Waen Beach. It allures the tourists with white sand and clean beach. The majority of the tourists here are from Europe. This beach is most beautiful during December to April.

Thien Beach

Thien Beach
Thien Beach situated on the west side of the island, stretches 500 m. It is popular amongst Thai and European holiday makers. Sport activities such as jet ski and banana boats are available. Massage can be enjoyed on the beach.

Samae Beach

Samae Beach
This 700 m long beach is very popular. The prominent spot of the beach is the building in a sting ray shape on the hill which is a control office for a solar cell and windmill. There are a lot of restaurants and some accommodations along the beach. Those who would like to witness the sunrise and sunset, this beach is a spectacular spot.

Nual Beach

Nual Beach
Nual Beach is situated in the south of Koh Larn with 250 m long beach. It is lush green with a fringe of coconut trees. Coral reefs are rife in this area which makes a great spot for snorkeling.

Khao Nom Viewpoint

The remarkable viewpoint is situated near Samae Beach. Tourists can walk or take a motorcycle to view the blue sea and the view of Pattaya City from afar.

Kho Larn Pattaya Funtown

 

Kho Larn

Situated to the west of Pattaya, Larn island offers the tourists with beautiful sandy beaches, clear water, breathtaking landscape and stunning sunset. It is only 7.5 km and 45 minute ferry or 15 minutes by speedboat. The island is 4 km in length and 2 km in width or 3,500 rai. 90% of the area is mountain with a variety of trees. There are approximately a thousand of residents living in the main village. There are also school and small medical facility on the island.

There is also a profusion of marine life under the water. There is glass bottom boat service where ones can view the scenic underwater life without getting wet. Big boats are not allowed to anchor near the beach as the corals are protected.

One of the popular beaches is Ta Waen Beach in the northern part of the island has a 750 m stretch of the white sand. There are also shops and food stalls along the beach. In the south western side of the island, Thian Beach stretches 700 m long and Samae Beach is 100 m long. Thian Beach is exceptionally clean and quiet. There are a few restaurants on this beach. Activity on Koh Larn: There is no need to worry that you will get bored on this island. There is a plenty of activities to enjoy include parasailing, jet ski, hiking, shooting, banana boat, fishing from pier or boat. There are also interesting activities underwater including snorkeling, scuba diving, diving in water-proof suit or take a tour in semi-submersible submarine.

Khao Kheow Open Zoo Pattaya Funtown

is the only zoo in Thailand where over 8,000 animals of more than 300 species let free in an area of 5,000 rai in the Khao Kheow-Khao Chomphu Wildlife Reserve. The zoo grounds are divided into a 400 acres of animal habitats, 200 acres of public recreational area and 1,400 acres of research area which is used for breeding the endangered species. Khao Kheow received international recognition and to become a member of World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Visitors can walk, drive through the zoo to observe animals at close range. There is also tram service riding around the zoo. Night safari is available with the special tram and expert will escort all the way through.

Burapha Course Pattaya Funtown

Burapha Golf Club is in Sriracha district, Chonburi province, the eastern part of Thailand and located only 109 km. from Bangkok and 30 km. from Pattaya, one of Thailand’s biggest tourist destination.

The 27-hole Crystal Bay Golf Resort (former Legacy Crystal Bay Golf Resort) course was designed by  Thai Takenaka and opened for play in 1988 under the original name of Natural Park Resort.

Since 2010 it is owned by and operated under the Legacy golf group of properties. The Pattaya golf course is located near Sriracha some 45 minutes from Pattaya and 1.5 hours from Bangkok. Described as a Hawaiian style course with palm tree lined holes, Crystal Bay has good tee boxes, lush fairways and fair greens.

Located halfway between Bangkok and Pattaya, the Ronald Fream designed Mountain Shadow is a very pretty course. It was crafted out of a former mango plantation with beautiful flowers and trees providing a backdrop to each hole.

Blessed with a wooded, rolling terrain, this coastal course comprises three nines-“Ocean”, “Lake” and “Mountain”.

This is exemplified on the very tough par-four 17th, which dog-legs left around a big lake. \
